- One of the Transposition of the Great Vessels diseases
- Transposition of the Great Arteries is the most common cyanotic heart disease
- Aorta arises from the right ventricle and the pulmonary trunk arises from the left ventricle.
- Atrial septal defect wih or without patent ductus arteriosus is often associated.
- Low oxygen levels in the blood cause the lips, fingers, and toes to look blue (cyanotic).
